I've bought a gun or two there over the years past. Long past, before it was Creighton's. As the roads have widened over the years, traffic has gotten closer to the shop. This kind of break-in is why some such shops put up concrete filled bollards anywhere near where vehicles can approach.
 
Good grief. They are naive no more, but certainly were, all told. When I worked at SportsWest in '77-'78, the handguns were in trays which went into the safe every night.

If it was that close to the road Im surprised they didnt put up cement posts to prevent this exact kind of thing.
In Auburn, they even have to do this for donuts.

Actually, it's on an S curve and several drunks have driven into it.
