So I just heard about this...

Lyman is recalling their rifles and pistols , due to a breech plug separation issue...
Rifles and pistols made from 1 March 2017 to 22 December 2017 are subject to this recall.

It is never too late too be safe! Especially something like a breech plug issue, failure there could be catastrophic!

Ruger has a recall on their later versions of the original M77 top-tang safety bolt action rifle. You need to swap out a set screw on the trigger. This recall has been in place since the '70s and after all this time they still have a handful of requests for the new part every year.

So in a case like this, old news can actually be good news!
