I'd think... if an abuser sees their partner taking out their own AR15 and load a loaded magazine, that they'd think twice and GTFO..... maybe (hopefully) forever... so.. I fully endorse the raffle to benefit the arming of people so as not to become victims in their own homes. But that's just my "tone deaf far right ideology" thoughts

Why does this have to be a big deal...?

Do you like the "casue" , the raffle is trying to raise money for...?
If so buy a ticket / donate.

If you don't like the prize... You still have choices...
Don't donate...
Or...don't worry if you do donate , chances are you won't win it.
However...if you do...you could always sell it and then get something you do want.

In any event...the worthy cause gets money....you may get a rifle...or a chance to sell / trade a rifle for something you do want.
Sounds like a win all around to me.

More importantly....
Firearms do not cause domestic abuse.
I understand that firearms may be used by domestic abusers.
However...
If someone is a domestic abuser...they tend to use whatever is on hand to abuse their spouse / partner / whoever...

It seems to me that since a firearm is just a firearm...and incapable of any action without human interaction...
The problem here lies with the abuser...and not the firearm.
