I think it depends on the store, I'm still mad at the portland one since it still says they have dozens of Bricks of lrp but none on the shelves.
Good to know, might take a look local.

60(ish) seems about the lowest in a long while. Don't see them ever getting back to pre-plandemic pricing ($20-30). Simply given economy/supply chain new "normal".

Ad in current widely vocalized ammunition "concerns", plus pre-election year runnup. Could be quite the blight again/continuing. For a long while. Years.

I don't think we'll see any sort of normal supply levels again for about 10 years at the rate things here in the US and abroad are going.

I happened to be in Roseburg today and stopped by Sportsman's Warehouse. They had some primers they were selling by the sleeve. Looked like small rifle. Some were $8.99 and some were $9.99 per sleeve. I've got enough to last awhile, so I was mostly looking out of curiosity. Might have bought some if the price was right.

At least in western wa, there seems to be plenty around at 80/1k and up, occasionally you might see $60/1k but I'm holding out for more normal prices around the $30 range.

I'm still sitting on thousands of wolf primers, and have yet to have an issue

Reminds me of Cousin Eddie in Christmas Vacation. When asked whether her husband had a job yet, his wife said: "He's holding out for a management position." :D

I'm not sure you will ever again see primers in the $30 range for a brick. Man, that would be awesome though. Maybe at a garage sale or estate sale. I'd feel like I hit the lottery.

The Sportsmans website currently notes 2 sleeve limit on all primers.

Don't know if some stores have there own policy (brick vs sleeves), or if this is new today.
Limit of two sleeves was the policy in this store up until about a month ago. Now they will sell you ten sleeves. Their register will only ring up a SKU for one sleeve, so they take one out of the brick for the cashier to ring up ten times.

SW also had Fiocchi SR, they were in packages of 150 count, I think they were $10 so a better deal than the Federals that I bought. But I haven't used Fiocchi centerfires before, thought I'd stick with American. I have used Fiocchi primed shotshells, no problems. SW has had the Fiocchi SR's available for some time.

Yeah, I thought $62 something for the Federals was pretty good; a savings of almost $40 over Cabelas current price. I think SW gave me something off for veteran discount, which is also available at Cabelas.

The biggest surprise today was getting in and out of SW in only ten minutes. I was able to snag a guy at the end of the counter just as he was going off shift and he was kind enough to get me the primers.

So it seems the panic buying has started, I stopped in at bi-mart and two guys bought all of their 5.56 and 9mm that is on sale, all 9 cases worth. Low hope for finding any at this point, cause people like that go from store to store and buy all of it. If I see it get posted for sale, there's a good chance I might yell at someone.

I noticed the lead time on components at the wholesale level has gone from a couple of days to a week or more. I'm still getting what I need but it does take a bit longer. But my local BiMart has lots powder and primers.

Well considering that most of the Remanufacturers are completely (or almost completely) out of 556 and 9mm. Is it any wonder. Also the prices have started to sneak up on 9mm. Days of $240 a case are just about gone.

Even recently I've seen 9mm for $200-$220 a case. With people panic buying it's only going to jump it up faster.

Curt's in Milwaukee has Large Pistol Magnums at $115 (possibly $135, bad eyes after my infusion), CCI's in stock. I let them keep them at that price, my Beowulf's (both of them) are unreliable and I don't care to waste my time and money on them for a while longer. Maybe before the next, "next" panick buy scheduled for 2026

We still have thousands in stock, and still pumping it out. Orders have picked up, and will be at both Redmond and McMinnville gunshows this weekend
