Tula too, if barrel is intact and bore is good it might be worth finding a good stock for it.1937 ....Pre-War Mosin Nagant 91/30.
Might be nice to get a new stock for it and the furniture...and re-furbish it as it once looked.
As it stands now...the ammo may be worth more than the rifle itself.

I used two different rounds not sure if it makes a differenceCan you provide a picture of the muzzle end of the barrel. Also a pic with one of the cartridges gently stuck into the bore like this?

It's a crude way to measure wear. If the barrel swallows the bullet up to case, you have real problems. Your's is probably average. Good job on pics. The barrel looks intact. Somebody could probably restore it back to a more original configuration. I would throw it up as a package for $500ish and be prepared to accept best offers. I would not sell the ammo separately until the rifle was sold.So is where the bullet sets in the end of the barrel good or bad?
