Looking to get a edc knife. What are you guys rocking? Benchmade Spiderco???
I have a bunch, but past few years I have been carrying an older kershaw. 3 1/2" blade, no serrations, spring assist. It's a nice, comfortable size, body of the handle isn't too thick and nicely contoured. I found it in a car I bought...tip had been snapped off from abuse. I sent to to Kershaw to get fixed, fully expecting to pay for the repair. They fixed it and cleaned it up for me, no charge! Excellent customer service 👍

My grandfather (a farmer) carried a pocket knife his whole life. They are a tool on a farm. My Dad always carried a small knife forever that I remember. I used to be in a business that used alot of plastic wrap. I carried various pocket knives but used ones with a belt clip. Some folders, some serated, some single side and some dual sided.
But my favorite knife that I have carried for the past 20 years is a CobraTech OTF dual sided & spring loaded. My first one the spring finally gave way. I called and actually got the guy who does the warranty work who answered. I sent it in to him to 'fix' and he called back. Tells me they no longer make that model but that he would go through his box of parts and recreate one for me--free of charge. 100% warranty on their stuff. Wholeheartedly recommend this company

Mine are all Benchmade. Each of mine serve a specific use or scenario.
I know, some people hate Benchmade for whatever reason, but I don't care. Besides I get a 30% Veteran discount on them.

I carried a Kershaw Whirlwind for years but it has finally been retired. Currently usually carrying a Kershaw Blur or a WorkSharp RMX.

I have all three in gray. I really like them. I carry the large drop point most often. And they have all been switched to autos.
Good to hear! I've contemplated trying to catch the 10am Monday releases, as it seems like a lot of knife for the money, but was unsure given how new they are. Seems like there haven't been any major issues/flaws though.

My two alternating EDC knives plus my very old 6" scale for reference, Gerber Harsey Air Ranger Father's day gift from around 2001and a Honey Badger I bought around 3 years ago, I haven't gutted an animal or used either for self defense but for opening the amazon boxes that arrive daily for my wife they both cut very well and opening or closing either of these bad boys is smooth as silk....

FYI re benchmade, some people don't like them due to giving to the party trying to take our guns. Others don't like them due to their multi year program of destroying guns.
Give it a break, will ya? You already ran this to the ground in this thread previously.

Benchmade didn't' make those political contributions, either.. Their employees did...

I got so tired of seeing this that I almost called the OCPD and asked them if they wanted me to destroy their firearms for them...

Ah, I didn't realize it was the same thread. I assumed it was a new one. Normally I wouldn't repeat in the same thread.
