They will also sharpen it and clean up anything they can on it. I got my mine into some gunk and they were able to carefully clean it ( it was beyond what I could do) and they will sharpen it while you wait!
They will also take your money and donate it to Democrat politicians here in Oregon, who will continue to further vote away your rights. Hard pass for me on any Benchmade.

I won this Kershaw at a 4x4 rally in 2018. It's been in my pocket everyday since then. I really like the one handed operation.
Before that I carried something much smaller, a Kershaw DWO II. (the smaller one in the second picture)

Any CRKT m16 or m14 variant. I go with the larger ones. Great knives for every day use and abuse. Outstanding lifetime warranty, I had a couple with broken safeties that I sent for warranty repair and in the end they just replaced for free.

I wouldn't carry a bench made or spider or any other super high end blade every day. For me any of those would just be shelf trophies. I use my knives too often.

Looks like you're in Oregon City which is where Benchmade is located. They will sharpen or fix anything on your blade for free. You can just drive in and have it done. I buy Benchmade for the same reason I buy Leupold. It's quality and it's right in my back yard.

Currently running this little Rainier Knives fixed blade. You can't go wrong with spyderco or Benchmade though.

Disregard all the Benchmade haters. I'm sure they will show up.

I heard benchmade is going to make a ruger line of knives made out of mim, complete with 1/8" deep rollmarks and only sell them at bi-mart to 21yr olds and above.
The #114 is thought to be their future best seller.

so there's that

Really? Got any proof of this, or is this just an assumed extrapolation from Benchmade helping the OCPD in decommissioning/destroying firearms?

The owner is very left leaning. I've met him in person and his donations speak for themselves. With that said I still own and carry a Benchmade. When/if I buy a new blade it won't be a Benchmade but they do make a decent production line folder.

Yeah, way to cherry pick the data, by only linking the year they donate $65. How about those years before that?

2016 was a great year, huh....that's $14,700 to Democrats. You must have bought a lot of Benchmades that year!

I didn't cherry pick anything, the data was all there for anyone to see. I didn't restrict it.

And speaking of cherry picking the data - how about you show the full data there in your screen capture - specifically how much was donated BY BENCHMADE instead of individual employees, since your (false) claim was that BENCHMADE donates a lot to Democrats?

I'll be waiting for the whole story.

Tell you what, hotshot, I'll save you the trouble and show the entire site that you're full of it.

So there you have it. "They" don't donate money to ANY candidates. At all. Period.

Individuals who work there do. And that's their prerogative, just like individuals who work at any business.

Don't spread lies you can't back up.

Their CEO, Jon de Asis, has donated to one Democrat and one Republican. Penalties offset, repeat 2nd down.

I figure Benchmade must be left-leaning to be so tone deaf as to think destroying guns for the government was a good idea and wouldn't have any negative impact on sales to right-leaning folks. Honestly, it didn't have much effect on my purchasing because I was unaware of their deeds until more recently. I didn't buy their products because they were too pricey. There are just so many other choices. I own Buck, Outdoor Edge, Havalon, Camillus, Gerber, Kershaw, Coast and probably some other brand knives. Many of which cost me nothing. Either they were gifts, came free with a magazine subscription or membership, or won at NRA or RMEF banquets. My main workhorse hunting knife is an old Schrade fixed blade that my older sister gave me for Christmas over 50 years ago. Since she was probably around 14 at the time, I doubt it was very expensive. The blade is getting narrower from being sharpened over so many years, but it will still outlast me.
