My apologies, sir. I painted Benchmade with a broad brush. I'm from Georgia, so I don't english writing to gooder. I'll try to do better this time.I didn't cherry pick anything, the data was all there for anyone to see. I didn't restrict it.
And speaking of cherry picking the data - how about you show the full data there in your screen capture - specifically how much was donated BY BENCHMADE instead of individual employees, since your (false) claim was that BENCHMADE donates a lot to Democrats?
I'll be waiting for the whole story.
In past years, there have been several employees at Benchmade who have donated some large sums of money to democrat politicians. Benchmade the organization did not donate any money. Just like Benchmade the organization did not destroy a whole bunch of firearms, because well, Benchmade isn't a living, breathing entity. It was their employees who did it, either at their own discretion or from the direction of their management.
I look at 2016 and see that 4 employees dontated well over $16k to democrat politicians. That's a lot of money in my book. Could those 4 people be some janitors who decided to give lots of thier paycheck that year to democrat politicians? Maybe. Could it be the owners or executives who have that kind of coin to spend, gave their money to democrats? Maybe so too. But like you said - their money, their choice.
Either way, I'm off to my job to do my own janitorial duties. And from my earnings of that labor, the great State of Oregon will take a good portion of my paycheck and give it to people who need it more than I do. And when the State finishes that, they'll get busy on concocting new and creative ways to restrict my gun rights. But during my day today, I'm going to try my hardest not to spend my money at organizations whose employees or the business itself funnels the profits from my purchases to democrat politicians.
