Longshot... 700ADL action screws

I installed a new stock (McMillan Remington KS) on my 700ADL Synthetic, and apparently the new stock is a little deeper through the belly. Anybody know if any of the gunshops/gunsmiths local to Portland/Salem carry longer screws? I know I could order a couple from Brownells, but I'd really like to try it first to get the right length the first time.

They're 1/4x28 (or should be). Hit your local hardware store and should be able to get both for ~$1, also get a 1/4x28 nut. Cut/file screw to length with the nut on it. Now unscrew the nut and that'll "fix" the threads where you made the cuts and you're G2G
