Bad acting and simple plot story lines. But, gives a minuscule visual of how much it would suck back then. And to survive, being a commoner brought up through rank vs being a "Gentleman" commissioned solely due to wealth or status.

Like a soap opera, with sprinkles of quasi historical settings during the British/Napoleonic campaigns in Spain & Portugal & such.

Bad acting & simple plots set aside, kinda neat.

Don't watch much on TV...
But I have been catching up on "Fretted Americana"
( You Tube Series / channel )
Phil X plays and talks guitars...new and vintage.
What I like about Phil X is that he does not take himself too seriously...has a sense of humor...is not afraid to show his mistakes on the video...And for a lesson...it can all be summed up as : Practice.

This. Got all kinds of projects around the place going on and getting done. Have a couple of pasture overseeding jobs to do with my tractor. Not even hardly watching any Netflix, working on some guitar things too. I go from 7 am to 6 pm most days and sleep well.
