I just finished putting a LMT Defender together, assembled lower, Auto bolt carrier, 16 inch 1/7, runs great on everything brass, but hates wolfe. I dont usually run steel but a friend brought some out this weekend and it was the first time my rifle had a issue. MY RRA mid length ate this stuff up, but it is all AR, semi carrier, 1/9, etc. Not a big deal but wondering why the steel was an issue.

Thats why I wanted one, only thing i havnt checked is the gas port size, but everything else seems fine by switching parts between guns. It seems like a short stroke problem, as it dosnt pick the next round out of any mag, but it throws brass hard. Its pobably no big deal but I would feel better about it if it was a zero malfunction rifle. Thanks for any advice
