I called another LeafFilter brand contractor and told him the story I posted here. When I finished, I asked the guy if he would come and give me a bid and he said no!

Suggest you reach out to Leaf Filter USA and speak with them directly. No joy? Find a different gutter type.

Gutters are mighty universal size-wise. Here in Texas many homes do not even have gutters on them. The rain runs off and the ground soaks it up, but my house did have some across the front (2 sections), and none across the back. Put a deck out back but then water ran out over my deck. I put a 5" Leaf Filter (w/out the filter) gutter all the way across my back (45' no trees in the yard). I went to ABC Supply and chose and bought enough to cover all my gutters. My style is not the filter type but slotted. 6' ladder and finished installing them in a day and a half.

If I lived back in the land of maple trees and had a 2nd story I would definitely put gutter guards up there!

True, some of the scummiest businesses have a perfect bbb rating because they pay money to the bbb to do so. The bbb is worthless as a watchdog.

Not my experience with BBB in the course of a 6-month battle with a car warranty outfit regarding a $4800 repair bill.

I contacted their LOCAL BBB (in North Carolina) with all my written horsepower and documentation and the BBB was quite interested, engaged and responsive.

Not resting there, I also filed a complaint with the Oregon Insurance Commission, and the Commissioner began regular personal contact with me and worked in tandem with the BBB.

I "won". But not before I had to scrap (due to funds tied up in the car repair) an auction-bought trip to Africa (and probably my only chance to hunt there).

The warranty outfit was flabbergasted that some OCD-ridden weirdo in Oregon actually wrote down every single tank of gas, windshield wiper, self-completed oil changes, and even wash and wax jobs during the entire life of the vehicle. They tried to claim my personal notebook for the rig was faked. BBB pointed out to them that all was in chronological order with corresponding mileage entries and part numbers. Pretty hard to fake.

The BBB is alright with me.

That could very well be what's going on here. Last year when we walked out of a car dealer with a cashiers' check for a car and went to another I was telling the Wife that. Place was owned by a guy who started quite an empire of dealerships here long ago. So often places get passed down to the kids and by the 3d generation they just nose dive.

When l sold installed roofing we sold gutter glove, it wasn't cheap but it was well made, kind over built compared to the gutters it was going on. I think it was $12-15 a foot, that was 15 years ago.

Had a woven tire shred like stuff installed 12 years ago. Worked great but finally too plugged up to work so I made a 30' long suction pipe for shop vac out of abs pipe and pulled them all out with a vacuum. Will need to have some new stuff installed now but at least they are flowing correctly again. Roof is too steep to walk on and way to high to reach with ladder.
