Noticed on the way home today that it looks like there is a fresh blanket of snow up there. I have never been bothered up there but also know that the local kids like to offroad and make a mess of things at times.

I havent been up there for years. Last I knew, it was closed off due to rubbish dumping. Great area, is it open now?

WA Larch is open. it is a great place to shoot. the rock pit was clean people must be cleaning up after they are done. that is good for us

That road up the hill is vicious with the bumps and stuff. My truck can handle it just fine, it's just obnoxious.

There is also an open quarry (2 actually) on Larch Mt. road off of Hwy 6 in the Tillamook forest.

i spoke to law enforcement a couple of weeks ago- larch mountain in clark county is open everyday from the rock pit up. During the winter sometimes they close the road above that takes the skyline to washougal
