Well, I find myself with a problem: On my AR pistol, the bayo lug and my flashcan mount are competing for space, so one or the other has to go--and with the horrid flast and blast off a 10.3 and not enough barrel to mount a bayo, the lug's getting Voted Off The Island.

Question is: is it going to cost me less to buy a no-lug F-marked FSB and have it mounted and the existing FSB removed, or to keep the FSB I have which came with the barrel and just have a smith chop off the lug and refinish the FSB?

What DB is trying to say, is he didn't do his homework...lol.
The threaded portion of the diverter goes on first. It extends back (sleeved) beyond the crush washer, which has threads to screw on the shroud. Or the shroud can be left off. Cut it off DB. Hit it with a file to the bottom radius. If you're going to pay the GS to do it, there went your budget!!
