Kentucky 50 caliber pistol

I haven't used a .50 Caliber Maxi Ball....but I have shot .58 Minie Balls out of a 1855 Dragoon pistol replica...
Recoil was stout with the bullets...It felt better with a patch and round ball.
Load was 40 grains of 3F.
