Keep the Python and shoot it.
I don't keep guns I don't shoot. I have some that I'm very careful about how they get used, though.
I have an "old west/romantic" attachment to single action revolvers, especially when I see an old Colt, but I do much better shooting a DA revolver.
In the past I was "this close" to buying a USFA in 44-40 or 45 Colt. H&K had one of each.
Glad I didn't, cuz I'da shot them, decided then what I learned later about shooting SA revolvers and would have parted with them at a loss.
A blued, 4" Python? Never would I let go...
Looks like a 6" Nickel. Not exactly what I'd want, but would be close enough I'd keep it.
