I dunno how far back my family tree goes. Atleast as far back as the civil war. My grandpa, who is still alive, fought in WWII. How do you find out how far back your lineage goes? I would think that my family tree goes back before mid 19th century for this country, Im pretty sure we had some ancient family members that fought in the civil war but not much information prior.
