Jury duty anyone?

Retired 6 years ago. Working downtown a couple blocks from the courthouse, I'd have loved to serve for a week (or a month) but it never happened. Military and LEO background popped up in all 3-4 selection interviews and I never got the nod. Can't say that's why, but I saw people offer some compelling excuses to not serve and then get selected.

I had Grand Jury Selection this past Thursday.

Once I learned more about the duties, specifically that the grand jury does investigations and recommends indictments then it sounded quite interesting.

First order of business, open investigation into Brandon! But alas, I was not selected ... so just a waste of 2 hours of my day
