Put your feelers back in your sleeve! I wasn't giving you flack or labeling you an Sig hater! I said I respected you sharing your opinion here. You don't like the new stuff, that's you and I'm ok with it. I just I didn't necessarily agree. SHEESH!
Well I obviously touched a sore subject with someone. Haha.

It's all good man. I may hold off on selling the 43 though if I was you. Wink wink. Haha.

Ok. He addresses your exact claim in a follow up video where the pistol was sent to Sig and they replaced the entire trigger assembly because it was faulty.

He's pulling the trigger as hard as he can and it won't go off until he shakes it. It's not the wall. lol.

Believe what you want. Carry what you want.

Sigs old stuff is great. New stuff is trash.
By slamming the gun forward, clearly with his finger on the trigger, what do you expect to happen? He has zero credibility when he pitches this as proof of something being faulty. Interlimb response. The fingers gripping the gun will tighten when the gun travels forward to stop it. The trigger finger will tighten too.

I just tried this on 10 guns in my safe. I guess I should send all these guns back to S&W, Beretta, Walther, Kimber, Remington, Colt, and Sig. They all fired when I did what he did on the video. Ironically, the only one that needed multiple attempts was my wife's 365. This stuff is compete BS and I can't believe people fall for it.

There may have been something wrong with the gun. I've sent guns back to S&W and Kimber that had issues initially. But his little charade throwing the gun forward is shameful.

Congratulations. Sig replaced the entire trigger but it was human error. Sounds about right.

Earlier in the video his main complaint was that there was a delay in firing when he pulled the trigger. This equates to "going off by itself" in no way. Until the ridiculous 'throw the gun forward with your finger on the trigger' example was done. When you send a Glock in for the front sight falling off (which I've seen more times than I can remember) does the gun go full semi-auto too.

Intellectual honesty is often lacking with Sig finger-pointers, from what I've seen over the past two years.

So if I owned a P365 and I press the trigger as hard as I could and it wouldn't fire and then I jolt the gun forward and it goes off then that's ok? That's the way it's supposed to work? If that's the case all my guns are broken. Cause I don't have to physically move the gun to get any of mine to discharge. My finger with a very slight amount of pressure does.

I think we are interpreting the problem differently.

I'll pass.

Like I said own what you want. But I am free to have my own opinions as well. I can hate it and you can love it. PERSONALLY I don't trust them.

And a front sight…. Who uses those. No irons for me man! So without the front iron I am fully-semi all the time. But it's a Glock so atleast it will go off when intended. It's got that going for it.

I've got one and edc it on a regular basis. I don't have too many rounds through mine; probably 300-400. It had a few feeding issues at first, but after a deep clean of the gun and magazine, it's been 100% reliable.

Funny, I watched that video of the 365 trigger failure, and the exact same issues were present on my brother's CZ with the omega trigger. I also just had to send a brand new S&W PC 686, and two new rugers back for service. Sig is not alone in their issues.

I rented both the P365 and Hellcat. For me the Hellcat felt better in my hand and I shot it better so it is the one I bought.

Personally I consider the Hellcat and P365 to be pretty equivalent so a person should get which ever one suits them the best since you really can't go wrong with either of them.

I usually pocket carry which the Hellcat is too big for but I do carry the Hellcat IWB sometimes when I feel like carrying IWB.

I am not a Sig fanboy but I do respect their ability to make a quality weapon (Other than the P320). I would have no qualms about recommending a P365 to anyone if it fits them well and I would be perfectly happy with one if I had chosen to go that route. I think the P365 is a much better carry choice than a Glock 43!

I do think people pay premium for a gun with the SIG name on it! I know I did when I purchased my one and only AR, a SIG Spear LT, which I am extremely happy with. I am confident I could have found an equivalent AR for less but just wanted a quality AR when Measure 114 passed and I will probably never buy another AR.

I concur with this. IMHO, I believe the P365 is about a $450 firearm. (Note, this is just my opinion)

The first time I handled one, I did not care for the feel. I was pretty dedicated to my Glock 43 and reluctant to give anything else a real try. (I've carried others that I have but, the 43 was my primary) Lately I have been revisiting the P365 and realized it really fits my hand well and has very good point ability for me. Long story short, I picked one up and it is now replacing the G43 as my EDC. Something about this little shooter keeps grabbing at my attention and I can't seem to put it down. Once I've found the perfect 124gr defense load, it will be my new constant companion. It is optic ready, but not sure I'm going to put one on yet. It has a really good set of night sights on right now.

If the P365 is your EDC, what brought you over to it, and what are your favorite likes about it? Share your story if you like.:)

G43X for the 15+1* win.

* (using Shield Arms mags)

If it hasn't been mentioned already, if you have the flat black made in USA mags make sure to keep a protectant of some sort on them cuz they rust just sitting there. If it's the Italian made glossy ones you don't have to worry about it much. I have 10, 12, 15 rounders from USA and Italy so # of rounds is not an indicator. Baseplates also are not an indicator. Both are sold by sig.

I greatly appreciate this tidbit of info! All 3 of mine are USA made so; I coated them down with a generous amount of CLP. :s0155:

Yes, it is my EDC now that I'm shrinking and in permanent slow mode. I have an early model sans the issues reported. I have large hands yet it fits and points well and the trigger is pretty good too. I like the tritium sights, keeps the gun slim, they work very well for defense distance day or night. tritium is seven years old now and still working. I can look at my night stand in complete dark and know just where it is by the two green dots glowing there. I use 115GR, LEHIGH DEFENSE XP which has never given me a feed issue albeit I only use maybe 20 out of a 100 for target practice as they're not cheap. carried daily now for about 4 years after slowly giving up the 45 but I have no rust considering body moisture, (as yet) though it gets a good cleaning every couple weeks or so. My mags say made in the USA, they are shiny black and have no rust on them or the spring after 7 years. As a plus, my mags have a little button on the bottom, with a light push the mag comes apart in your hands and resembles just as easily.
I also like that it is similar in shape as the pistol that came with a laser target system I practice with.
Hops this helps.

Well it sounds like the 365 is very unpopular based on this thread. It's amazing that it's been a best seller since it came out! FWIW, I'm either packing a 938 in my pocket or a 365 (the small original) in a mini-tuck. I really thought the 365 was a step forward when they came out so after the bugs seemed to be worked out I bought one. It's a little gun that shoots like a big gun. I find it very comfortable, accurate and it seems to eat everything but XTP's. My personal favorite cartridge in it is the 124gr plus p short barrel gold dots.

I know you're being sarcastic, but it caused me to look it up just for fun. #1 in USA according to this April 2024 report.

P365 is extremely popular and carried by many. I know plenty of people who carry and love them. I'm just not one of them. I will say the full size Macro frames shoot great and 17+1 in that small of a package is very enticing.

Mine has been and producing it managed to save my life without a shot fired. When someone dumped gasoline on me and attempted to set me alight with an aim and flame, and a knife, backing up and producing it from my pocket enabled me to back up, require them to drop the gas can, lighter, and knife. I dumped the gas can in the storm drain, stuck the knife blade between the curb and sidewalk and snapped it and smashed the aim and flame.

I am a little fond of it since.

I also have over 10k through mine with only severely defective tulammo causing a stoppage.

I was an extremely early adopter as a pocket size 12 rounder seemed amazing. Mine is loaded with `147 grain HSTs
