Interstate unit

Hey there.
I ended up buying some land (4 acres) by Drew's reservoir to build on someday and camp in mean time .
I'll set up base camp and hunt of there as well.
Never hunted interstate and heard mixed opinions on it. Good for late buck youth tags, poached by the natives, etc...
Any tips or PMs would be much appreciated.

I'm trying to remember where that unit is.
Is it north central Oregon?
Anyways.. I'd be Turning the whole place into food plots.
I'd also plant apple trees and put wire around them even on public ground.

This unit is East of Klamath falls and half an our west of Lakeview.
The lot is on the lake and near other homes.
Now if it was 40 acres or further from other homes, you can bet your sweet *** I'd be doing that

I felt 50/50 confident on the central part.
Got to be some pronghorn there.
Oregon's got some big ones.
One time I was hunting deer over by French Glenn. We jumped a pronghorn that I guarantee was 19 inches. So big you'd be 100% tempted to shoot it out of season. Sorry I admitted that. I never would, but pint being it was giant.

Well.....lol!!! I pulled the steens tag in 1 year. I know, I should of bought a lottery ticket that day.
Been lucky enough to shoot 2 14 inch goats down there.
