Hardley, what he did to stop the suspect was as an officer and not an 'off duty' officer and that changes all kinds of liability and legal aspects of this. Obligatory IANAL but any attempt to sue the officer is gone because he was an on duty LEO at the time and was assisting in stopping a murder suspect, not just some rando with poor driving skillsSemantics.

Another shows them wheeling him on a gurney to a life flight. Too bad they secured that sucker and it didn't roll out while up in the air.
