Earlier today a Sheriff's deputy was shot and killed when he responded to a domestic violence call in Riverside County, CA. The suspect shot the deputy in the head and fled on a motorcycle. It was reported the suspect reached speeds in excess of 150 MPH on the 210 Fwy.

The suspect, while trying to outrun police reached around to get something from his backpack, when a car swerved into the suspect causing a violent collision.

A sheriff official later stated the vehicle's driver was an off-duty narcotics officer who put himself on-duty and "conducted a legal intervention by hitting the suspect on a motorcycle.

Sorry but I CANNOT agree with the news reporter who said 'I am hoping that that suspect survives'.

I would have rather seen him in little pieces on the freeway....

Looks like justice served to me. Criminals need to understand their actions may come with them paying the ultimate price.

Prayers and blessings to the family and loved ones of the officer/deputy who was shot today.

He shot a cop. I hope he dies.

I dont wish anyone to die.....he will be judged on his day. Just know where he is going its extra hot!
It's just cheaper than feeding him. And, some people need to to disappear from society. Dying from his injuries just saves the taxpayers a bunch of money on someone that gets a death sentence and lives through 20 years of appeals.

I did not know till now that was another LEO who hit him. When I saw it all I could think was GOOD, just a damn shame he lived so we will have to take care of him for the rest of his life now. Too bad a few more cars did not run his a$$ over after he went down.

I replayed the motorcycle flipping and bouncing off him probably a dozen times. It made me happy to watch that.

If you search, there are other videos with different angles. From one, you can see, just before the Narco cop's Honda took him out, he racked the slide on his pistol.
Another shows them wheeling him on a gurney to a life flight. Too bad they secured that sucker and it didn't roll out while up in the air.

Life flight is too expensive for a guy that shoots a cop. I am just glad I don't have to help people like that anymore. A person that did that, that wound up in that situation., I wouldn't;t lift a finger to help. If the Lord wants him to live that's up to HIM. God doesn't need my help if that's the case.

Paralyzed from the waist down and in jail seems like decent punishment: he'll just wind up being a flesh light.

Pretty obvious that the only reason he would be doing what he was doing with his backpack is to grab a firearm to chase off the police. That's a crucial fact for off duty LEO who hit him, because that dude is definitely gonna sue that off duty law-enforcement officer if he survives. Him pulling out a firearm gives off-duty guy a defense.

Watch the video closer. He had the gun already out, and seemed to have racked the slide before the off duty officer hit him. Seems like he was reloading it.

Yeah, that's a bad guy. DV is strike 1, shooting an officer, strike 2, preparing to shoot another, and he's out. Even that guy's mom is going to have a hard time feeling sympathy for him.

That Toyota Camry was the hero of the day.

Some people think it may have been undercover, and others think it was trying to move over for the red and blues behind it.
