I'd like to have a camera for my motorcycle, so I can have video of the next moron that tries to kill me. Is there a camera that will work for me for less money than GoPro?

Yes and there is a TON of them to choose from now. Look at places like Amazon and you will find pages of them. They have ones that mount to the bike, are made to be popped off to take with you when you park. Others made to mount to the helmet. When we were still riding Wife and I used ones that mounted to the bike and popped off to charge or when you were not home. If I was still riding I would probably go with a helmet mounted one now too. They are nice as they are recording where you are looking. VERY small and light now and you don't have to pay high prices for one that works great. Some kind of camera is something EVERY driver should have now. They are cheap and if you get into a problem it can be a HUGE money saver to be able to prove what exactly happened. The ones in our vehicles have proven a few times to be WELL worth having.

Yes - over the past 50 years I have been hit from behind ~12-13 times. I wish I had video of each of these. The last time (7 years ago) was on the Portland Zoo hill going into work in Portland. I was stopped in a traffic jam and hit hard. I was never hit while on a motorcycle, but I have seen others be hit.

I intend to eventually put dual cams on all of my vehicles. One may notice that dual cams are becoming more and more popular.

My SUV has a backup cam, but it does not record. I one rode in a Toyota soccer mom van that had cams on the side - maybe cams all around, I don't know.

I had a friend (now deceased - cancer, not car accident) who was hit from behind at least once while on a motorcycle.
