I don't respect the man one bit and probably never will (there in no way in hell that I will ever respect any person that is trying to punish all gun owners for the acts of criminals and the insane), but I totally agree with his stance of not imposing his views on employee's and shareholders, along with his company not making political donations.

He could outspend us 1000-1on anti-2A stuff with the change he finds in his sofa cushions. The fact that he does not dictate politics to any of the companies in his portfolio says something about his character. He may feel one way on a topic and will spend his PERSONAL time to lobby for it, but does not force others who work for him to do so. I respect that. I still hope his efforts with Bloomberg fail badly.

Sure. Unless he just sees it as good business. He didn't get to where he is by making poor business choices. You can bet it's more about making money than about giving a bubblegum about keeping politics out of business.

Of course he understands it to be a good business practice. Pick a political side on just about anything and you risk alienating 50% of your potential customer base. When I hear an establishment is anti-gun I stop buying from them. WB knows this because he's an intelligent business man.
