Join the #1 community for gun owners of the Northwest
We believe the 2nd Amendment is best defended through grass-roots organization, education, and advocacy centered around individual gun owners. It is our mission to encourage, organize, and support these efforts throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.
Oops! I thought it said 1885, not 1895. That's a pretty strong gun, but the reason I asked has to do with the 3 (or 2) different power levels that many manuals have. If you wanted to PM me your e-m ail address, I could scan and send the pages to you.
if you need my e mail [email protected] T don,t use gas checks.I use a 1895 Marlin 22 inch barrel.I have used the H&R 45/70 22 inch shot good. The single rifle i would like to have is a Remington rolling.I miss the one I once had
Here's a "for instance." 37.0gr of RE-7 under a 325gr FTX and a CCI350 in my 16" 458SOCOM does 1630fps all day. The Socom runs max pressure of 35,000psi, which, is pretty low, and this load is not even close to that. Confirmed with chrono.
