Good news is I have central AC.

Bad news is it broke down Thursday. :s0118:
I was able to scramble up a new condenser cooling fan and capacitors before they were all gone yesterday morning.

AC parts store was packed. And people were grumpy!

The old motor was a three wire. And the new one is a seven wire.
So it took a little rewiring. And I Had to give the new motor it's own stand alone capacitor.
I gave the compressor motor a new capacitor as well. As they shared one before.
But less than $200 and it was up and running as of about noon yesterday. ;)

Have you checked your filters and cleaned the outside coils lately?

Very important. And since I had the fan out I hosed off all the lint and other crud from the inside. Blowing it out and off the cooling fins.
There was a ton of crap!

Poor thing should dissipate heat much better now.:s0002:

LOL... here's a copy and paste of a text conversation I had with a client after I fixed the A/C system in his office.

(Me) Your office cooling system is back online, and seems good to go.

(Client) Sweeeet. Thanks!

(Me) Have you walked in, and can you see your breath fogging in the cold air? LOL

(Client) Hahahahaha

(Client) Yeah man.

(Client) It's ball sack cold

Most of my clients are awesome... I love my job! :s0112:
