The guns were probably stolen from a non law abiding subject. If that subject had obeyed the law, the criminals would not have been able to steal the guns and commit the crime. It's quite logical if you think about it.

Letting people make us vulnerable before criminals, seems to be expected of us.. Expecting criminals not to have and use them is illogical.
