I asked for recommendations on a snub .38...

...and acquired a Ruger LCR. Now I'm looking for a good rig.

I like shoulder holsters, other than the hassle of putting it on/off. For a smaller snub like this, I think a horizontal orientation might be better.

I do own a high quality gun belt.

So...any recommendations? I looked a little locally but a couple places I stopped at didn't have anything. Ideally, something that is comfortable to wear and is reasonably easy to put on/off.

Not much out there. Galco makes the "VHS" vertical rig, but it's $200. High Noon makes a horizontal shoulder rig called a "Under Armor" that's a non-molded holster, for the Ruger SP101... it runs less than $100. It should fit a LCR just fine... but I suggest you contact them directly to verify.

Galcos are a bit expensive but I have owned several for years and never had a hint of a problem. They even look good and these were everyday carry rigs. Good luck with your search!
