G19 has better aftermarket support and cheaper magazines, holsters but not by a lot.

G19 is a better trigger design with simpler and fewer parts, and easier to replace and upgrade parts on your own.

I think the vp9 is more ergonomic and easier to shoot.

If going to shoot a few hundred rounds a year get the vp9, if thousands, get the g19.

I would agree with Taco. I have both and the glock is my "do all, beat the hell out of it" gun. Actually, I've 3 glocks, but only 1 HK if that tells you anything.

VP9 is also the same size as a G17, but only carries 15rds.

I bought a VP9 back in 2014 and the magazine at the time held 15 rounds. The VP9 has a magazine upgrade so it can hold 2 more rounds for a total of 17.
