I would like to take my single stage press with me to shooting areas. Has anybody here set there press up to mount on vehicle hitch?

I am thinking this vice mount might do the trick for reasonable cost.

How about buying an enclosed trailer and mounting your entire reloading system in that and then you could take it everywhere you go with you and clear some space out of your shop/garage?

He could start a reloading 'food truck' business and crank out ammo at various shooting ranges in the area!

I once fabbed something similar for a guy who wanted to do the same thing, but mostly when he was out camping for something to do.

I have heard about serious benchrest shooters loading ammo prior to a match but they typically use 'benchrest' reloading tools (similar to Lee loaders)

I guess you could load outside but you would have to secure stuff well to a avoid knocking things over, spilling components on the ground etc.

Also you might get curious onlookers asking what you are doing, and if you're lucky it will be some idiot anti thinking you are doing something illegal, wrong or call the LEOs

it's nothing I would ever do.

Back when the State still allowed fairly unfettered access to the forest, I use camp out and load my own on the spot to work up loads using a lee hand loader dies requiring no press, albeit I would use a little balance beam scale instead of the scoops.
A small press would have been nice, albeit I had none for three and a half decades.
Hitch mounted stuff can be some what rattle-ly.
If I'd had a press at the time, I think, a three legged, (due to potential of uneven ground) three foot high stool sort of arrangement made of 2 X 4's with a 30 '" or so spread at the base would suit me better. One of the legs could fold up for storage and transport. Orienting the press handle the direction of one of the legs. By having its own stand, if the weather was sunny hot or wet, I could be more selective where I did my loading. (tree shade, tent, canopy, tarp etc.)

Later in life I used a little trailer house but now finding a comfortable and safe area near to camp and shoot is nearly impossible.

(No beer was consumed while shooting)

Not necessary. You can prep and prime brass before a trip to the range. At the range you only need to do charge weights and seat bullets. They make small arbor presses and special seating dies that work well for this.

Are you trying to say I should get the BBQ instead?

So I've actually done this with 2 of my presses so that I can take them with me on the go to reload. I've got a cargo carrier that mine attach to.
