There are probably 100's of "classes" of land speed records.. if it's a women's division, then I guess it (the number of classes) gets/is doubled.

With tests of ultimate human physical strength or endurance, I have no problem with segregated records. You won't see me criticizing the world's pushup record holder for women.

What does genitalia have to do with how fast a person can drive? This seems like a meaningless 'record', and it is.

Brings up a question, though. Why, considering this is a sport where physical attributes really aren't a factor at all, is there a different division for women? The car is doing all the work.
