help with my Ruger MK III Hunter

I installed the Volquartsen trigger kit and it seemed to be installed right. If dry fires fine. But when i took it to the range. It would first the first round fine. It eject the case and loads the next fine but it doesnt want fire the next shot. The trigger seems like its not in-gauged. I can then pull the bolt back and load another round and it will fire that fine. What did I do wrong here?

You need to back out the screw pointing upwards that controls the pretravel distance, you need a slight amount of slack or it will have issues.

i did that I will try and move it out more. I plan on going back out this weekend to see if it fixes it.

what he said, sound like trigger was too far backward it did not reset. Good luck!
