Help identifying an Iver Johnson revolver

Hi all,

I inherited this from my dad who inherited it from my grandfather. I'm pretty sure it's chambered in 38 S&W, but I'm wanting to confirm that as well as a manufacture date if possible. I've done a lot of online searching and I'm not coming up with much.

Look at the fine print on the top of the barrel. It will give you a very close date of manufacture using the latest pat date. That date will also tell you if have a black powder frame or a more modern one.
PS. This is the first IJ I have seen with a Gold Plated trigger and cylinder. DR

C on yours should be 1926 from what I figure. It says single letter serial number was made 1920-1929. FITCHBURG for Fitchburg, MA (where my Dad grew up)

Looking for some info on iver Johnson revolver serial # b13388 5 shot believe 32. Does anyone know manufacture date and is this a 32 sw or 32 app? Or blackpowder?
