A family man who's been plinking with pistols & 22 rifles for twenty years who's just discovered the .308 and reloading

Not familiar with local ranges I spend a few hours on the road south once a month to shoot with my brother (he shoots 308 as well, and we have stations at 100, 400, & 750 yards).

There are a number of ranges. If you don't mind the drive, IMHO the best range - in terms of different ranges, competitions, etc. - is TCGC...especially if you get action range certified. However, this is a private range and they are full-up.
