Give me a little time, and I think I can work something up. Hopefully, we can get some folk here to join in! I'm sick of all these "new" laws, when the government cannot even enforce the ones already on the books. That's a taste of what I have in mind... :)

I was going to say "don't get me started", but it's too late for that. Here we go...

I get ticked off about the laws they WON'T enforce. "Legal" weed, "Sanctuary" state - they don't obey federal law.

Drive to Seattle. You can camp on the sidewalk or in public parks, shoot heroin, poop anywhere, park your r.v. anywhere, break into cars, - all without repercussions! I pay taxes and am a law abiding citizen - why should I obey these crap gun laws? Because prison, that's why - its really infuriating.

Tell a liberal in the state legislature and they don't care. Manka Dhingra authored the bump stock ban because "our children are scared". Bologna! I don't believe that for a second. Liberals are tyrants. Tyrants are afraid of an armed populace. They use every gun crime committed by insane maniacs to attack the 2nd Amendment. Bloomberg money is tasty and he preys on liberal scaredy cats to push his anti-gun, anti-American legislation.

The problem is that the bulk of the population of the state is in King county/Seattle. It is a socialist hellhole. Our only hope is to break up King county or even make Seattle it's own county. The "rural" vs. "city" situation was highlighted in the last presidential election, with the tyrants trying to do away with rural rights by attacking the electoral college - the great equalizer. It was meant to prevent the big cities from dominating rural America.

One more thing. Has anyone read I1639? The first 2 pages read like they were written by a lecturing teenager telling me about how guns are bad and that gun culture is for crazies. It is written to invoke the emotions of liberal cry babies who are scared of guns. It is an infuriating bill renaming my hunting rifles as "assault weapons". Shove it! America was founded on self-reliance and the individual's right to defend life, liberty, and property. Liberals want you to rely on the state to defend you. I've got to go feed everybody and water. It got hot today!

Thomas Gunne,

I'm not real sure how much you have read through these forums and boards, but what your talking about gets discussed in great length...

The problems and issues not only here in Washington, but Oregon and other states as well.

Not to take away your thoughts and thunder, but this is the "New Member Intruductions"...:D

Again, Welcome aboard and we look forward to your points and views on the boards...:):):)

I'll reduce it to this...conditioning. A general ignorance/malaise borne of plain bad public schooling, followed by the "protest" mentality, which is driving the anti-gun hysteria at the moment. That makes it easier to get them to do what the real masters want. As it was stated to me by a friend, we are still on a plantation, we just don't see the owners or overlords anymore.
Let's also abstain from the "liberal/conservative" debates and stick with what gave us the right in the first place, the Constitution. There is no right/left there. Any approach must appeal to become a movement. Brandishing guns in public is NOT the way.
I would appreciate any and all suggestions/contributions to this subject. Can we create something to protect what the Founding Fathers gave us in good faith, to defend? Yes, navigating laws is tedious and maddening, yet we need to reduce these "emotional security blanket" laws that our justice system will eventually stop enforcing. We are all the ones who pay for these laws, coming, and going. Sometimes twice and three times over. This is my lay perspective, so I am eager to learn more.

Got it on the "new member" thing. :)
