You ordered on a Friday, and on Saturday you wonder why its not yet shipped? The label is FedEx or UPS? Check the tracking number and I would "guess" its going to show they have not yet received the package as they are I am guessing picking it up Monday? There may already be a thread on this, but does Midwayusa.com have delays or holds on shipping powder? I ordered 2lbs of powder and some primers on the 17th and tracking shows that the label was created but that's it. Their site says it should ship out same day or next day?
I ordered on Friday in the early hours of the a.m. and got a tracking number Friday after noon, so I thought UPS had possession and it was in transit. I was questioning its movement (or lack thereof) Monday afternoon because it still hadn't been received by the carrier. I also forget to account for carriers that don't operate on weekends. My days off are T-W right now, and I haven't had a real 'weekend' schedule in a long time. I did see it started its journey around 8pm this evening, so my concern is all for naught. You ordered on a Friday, and on Saturday you wonder why its not yet shipped? The label is FedEx or UPS? That makes sense then. When you have an account at the common carriers you can make labels and the tracking becomes "active" even though the carrier has not been "handed" the package. I am "guessing" a place like Midway has the carrier come to them as they will have a LOT of stuff. So when carrier shows up they start scanning labels as they get loaded. Both Carries work weekends but, only for people who are willing to pay premium. When a package has "restrictions" like yours will then its also handled a little different as it can't just be sent on like all the other stuff.I ordered on Friday in the early hours of the a.m. and got a tracking number Friday after noon, so I thought UPS had possession and it was in transit. Yeah, I just figured it would be in transit sometime Saturday, then halfway through Monday still nothing, it just had me wondering. It's on the move now thoughThat makes sense then. "Some" places will take your money, then let you sit and wait while they do not actually have the product. Their supplier may be telling them they have it on the way too them and they are hoping you will not start complaining. This kind of business practice when done to me will normally make that the last time the place sees my money. If they tell me up front they do not have it, and think they will later? Fine. If they don't admit that, take my money and then hope I will not care? That makes me angry. I have been shopping Midway since LONG before Al G invented the net and they so far have never done that. So if they say they have something and you pay they are packing it up for you.Yeah, I just figured it would be in transit sometime Saturday, then halfway through Monday still nothing, it just had me wondering. Target Sports USA is very good at this."Some" places will take your money, then let you sit and wait while they do not actually have the product.
I had an account there for a year one time but they never had ammo so it was a waste of the money I paid them. When they do this are they telling you up front that the item is back order or are they acting like they do, taking your money, then hoping it comes in before you get angry?Target Sports USA is very good at this.

They are a bulk shipper. Meaning UPS will make a large pickup (x times per week). You'll probably see tracking update as UPS in possession Friday evening.I placed a powder order with Midway on 8-31, notified by UPS that label was created 9-1. As of this moment, package has not been tendered to UPS. Larry Potterfield says, "Since I've always been a stickler for fast shipping, we're working hard to get it out quickly." We'll see how it goes.
Could be they got a lot of orders over the Labor Day weekend.

This is standard. Sometimes it can be fun to watch the tracking as the package gets put on the wrong truck or such and goes on a long ride. While back a pack of Silver I bought did that. Then tracking just stopped. I reported it to the place I buy from a couple times holding their feet to the fire. After many days suddenly the package was moving again and got to me. WTF knows where it was sitting.Update. I got a message from UPS on 9-5 that they had picked up the shipment, it was in Lenexa, KS, and it was scheduled for delivery today, 9-7 between 1:15 and 5:15 PM. That never happened. Since then, tracking shows that it made it to Tacoma 9-7 at 1:20 AM. When I saw that, I knew it wouldn't be here on 9-7. Maybe Monday.
Around here UPS doesn't deliver on Saturday. Over the long weekend I had a package get to Eugene on Friday 8 miles away and had to wait until Tuesday for it to be delivered here.Update.
