Washington Supreme Court upholds I-1183 liquor law - Spokesman.com - June 1, 2012
I'm driving across the river to Vancouver today to cast a vote with my dollars. I'll be thanking the good folks at Costco for getting the State of Washington out of the liquor business while stocking up on the forbidden fruit of Kirkland brand vodka. A friend thought it would be wrong to take me child with me, but that's because they are used to the shady Liquor brand liquor stores the state franchises here in Oregon. Today, we will be able to buy liquor with dignity along side our 5# bags of tortilla chips.
Hopefully, those of you that believe in small government will do the same this weekend so we can encourage Costco to continue fighting neo prohibition.
"I have a dream that one day the great people of Idaho will be free to purchase Five Wives brand vodka and that Oregonians will enjoy tax free rum with their tax free pineapple juice."
Cheers!
