If that was the case the State of Oregon can write me a check for said fire arm. Or one could sell it to a buddy in a free state, pay the transfer and visit friends in Idaho.

You could ice skate in hell before the state would pay you for your gun.

Called Palmetto this morning explained the situation they said they can't do anything to ship it quicker. Kind of frustrating, ten minutes ,after got email saying gun has shipped. Interesting in a good way!

If UPS ground, may still take a long while. UPS had 2-3 trailer delays my last palmetto orders. Not PSA' fault, they are across the country...

Odds to house ordered 3/19, received yesterday 4/2.
FFL stuff ordered 3/20, received at FFL Monday 3/31.

Dunno if PSA ships handguns 2 day (those orders were frames to FFL, & non FFL stuff to the house).

Ordered some handguns from Midway yesterday, they ship all handguns 2 day. Already have tracking, & will be at FFL monday. Just as an FYI. Free shipping deal too...

Couldn't figure out if there was a way to change shipping priority at PSA, even for a fee...

-as towards original question regarding transfer. Firearms transfer will be fine, magazine would likely be stripped (if standard capacity & beyond mid April transfer). Can't imagine any FFL violating state law...

I was told by an employee at a gun store that the permit to purchase could go into effect immediately after 4/12. Are we absolutely sure about the July 2026 date? If so, that would be amazing

Yeah, I'm not sure I would trust some local gun store employees.
