Your problem here is that you expect the reasons for this to be logical and make sense, and for there to be a legitimate reason to tightly control importation.

The reality, however, is that this is simply another incremental way to further restrict your gun rights in a long range attempt to eliminate all guns from society.

Never forget that this is the end goal for ALL gun control laws.
