I don't want to hijack the thread on duracoating and blueing a gun, but I have a question.

Does anyone know a very durable way to coat just the plastic part of a Kel-Tec?

I want to buy a Kel-Tec PF-9 but it has a gray bottom that I don't like. I want it black.

Any sure-fire way to permanently make that part black?

Thanks. :)

DuraCoat is one of the best on the market, all you need to do is strip the lower down and beed blast it and paint it, heck you can just sand it with Scotch Bright and will still be good and will last forever.
I have painted several guns with DuraCoat, would be more than happy to help you out just give me a call, PM me i will give you my phone number.

Krylon fusion, made for plastics/polymers, camoflague series in black, and a bunch of coats of Krylon Matte clear coat. Degrease, tack cloth, spray, let dry, spray, let dry (repeat as many times as you want....)
