The first of the tube amps up for sale, more will be added. Open to offers and combo deals!

Disclaimers 1st!
I used to build and repair a lot of tube amps, but both are sold as is.

Unfortunately I have no way for you to play the amps, I have an inverter but it's really small and I'm pretty sure it would either shutdown or smoke if we tried it!

With a little notice I can generally meet in the Bethany (Beaverton) area weekdays between 9AM and 5PM. I might be able to meet on Saturday/Sunday during the day. At this time this is the only time I am available. I'm about 15 minutes from Sportsman's on NW 185th, and prefer to meet there. There's lots of banks on 185th too, so we can meet at a bank if needed. But willing to meet in the Beaverton area. Basically, I can't meet you behind the K-Mart at 2AM. ;)

PROJECT AMPS ADDED
Fender 5f6a Clone - Project - tube amp - $225 $150

This was a JudyBox Revival cabinet and chassis that I got when they were unloading them. I put a Fender Tweed 5f6a Bassman board in it and wired up a switch to only have one input. I believe it's Normal Hi, Both, Bright Hi.

Comes with Celestion Canabis Rex 8ohm speaker. I think the transformers are from Ted Weber, the power transformer has EU taps as well.

The amp works but does have some hum, it sounds like 60 Hz hum. There is a heater centertap on the transformer, so no 100 ohm resistors were used to ground the heaters.

I do not have time to troubleshoot it, so I'm just selling it cheap.

The amp is sold as is, buy it as a project, buy it for the parts, buy it to play. But once you buy it, it's yours to stay!

I'll throw in a power cord, but no speaker cord is included.

Pretty sure this is the layout/schematic I used http://el34world.com/Hoffman/files/Hoffman_5F6A.pdf

Webster Chicago 66-1a - $250 $125 Sold Cheap on CL
Late 40's
Tubes: 6AV6 6N7 6V6GT(x2) 5Y3GT

The 6N7 and 6AV6 are both RCA, one 6v6gt is a Tung Sol, one is a Ken Rad, and the 5Y3GT is a Russian EH.
Handle is a little jacked, it's got some paint spots on it, and has a little 1940s hum. Has a three prong plug installed, and I remember replacing a few leaky caps a long time ago.

It rocks hard - volume and tone, that's all you need. If you turn up your guitar volume it gets dirty and if you roll it back it cleans up.

One of the jacks is an extension speaker jack, and it's way louder when you use an extension cab. There are two inputs the one in the front is also a lot louder. It did squeal a little when I had the volume and tone all the way up, and I was right next to it, so it might be oscillating when the pots are full on. Just want you to know.

Probably 10-12 watts of pure tube tone, like a sweet Fender tweed.

Marshall 18 watt clone - project - 36 watt - $225 SPF Sold on Craiglist Cheap

This amp is basically a Marshall 18watt Lite, but it can actually run at 36 watts.

This has a switch that switches it from 36 watt to 18 watt, has VVR so you can get some sweet cranked tone in your bedroom, and I also built in a tube over drive pedal. It's footswitchable, or toggled from the front panel. There's a lot of stuff in that chassis, it's a tight fit for sure.

TUBES: nos 5u3gt, 4 Russian Military Surplus el84s, 1- Fender Sovtek 12ax7, 1- Tungsol 12ax7, and 1 Fender 12ax7 (probably from the 70's)

I never got around to having a real faceplate made, so I just printed it out on paper and put some tape over it. After I put the back one on, I realized that the 18 and 36 watt is backwards- so when the switch says 18 watts it's really 36 and vice-versa. And apparently I had something on my fingers when I installed it, because it's stained.

The chassis is a Brownnote 36watt Flex chassis so you can get a file from him that shows where the holes are, if you want to get a real faceplate made.

The head cab is made by Reason and was $250. I think the transformers were Weber, but I can't remember.

Matching LopoLine cabinet cane grill and Weber VST 8 Ohm Blue Dog included.

The Amp was working great, and I have not used it in a long time. I fired it up after taking the photos and the tube overdrive is not functioning as well as it used too - I'm pretty sure that it's the tube, but no guarantees.

The amp is sold as is, buy it as a project, buy it for the parts, buy it to play. But once you buy it, it's yours to stay!
I don't have time right now to check it out - so it's going to sell cheap.

5E3 Clone - Sold on Craigslist
Fender Tweed Deluxe 5E3 clone - $250 $200
Tubes: 12AX7 12AX7 6V6GT(x2) 5Y3GT

1st - 12AX7 is a generic Chinese tube (Can swap out for a 12AY7 as well)
2nd - 12AX7 is a Silvertone tube
PowerTubes are JJ 6V6GTs
Rectifier is an NOS Raytheon 5Y3GT

This is a clone of the a 1950's Fender Tweed Deluxe, minus two inputs, two volumes that interact with each other and one tone knob. If you turn one volume up, it turns the volume down on the other channel, and vise versa! It's hard to describe, Neil Young uses a box called a Whizzer to make these adjustments. Pretty much both volume controls make either input sound different. If you turn up your guitar volume it gets dirty and if you roll it back it cleans up.

The speaker that is in there now is not ideal for this amp, but it does work and sounds good, I would describe it as a little dark. I had an awesome speaker in it, but swapped it out to see how it sounded and never put it back. I ended up selling the other speaker. The current speaker is an 8OHM 100 Watt Sammi Professional Series, ME-300B50.

Rated about 10-12 watts of pure tube tone.
