Debauchery and no morals are the root cause. We hold these truths to be self evident. It doesn't take a study to figure this out. "It's all about me" is what the unions brainwash their members with, it's what permeates Hollywood, the porn industry and the vast liberal media! The 7 Deadly sins are often the root cause.

And that's where you've lost sight of the nation I swore to defend. No religion should be adopted, or shown preference. If you're talking Old Testament "morals," then I feel sorry for you in holding so
many contradictory beliefs. Your moral compass is pegged, and your beliefs have NO PLACE pushed upon another. It's sickening.

There is right and wrong, and what is being taught in schools today and pushed by Hollywood and the media, is wrong.
Old Testament, New Testament, following God's Law is common sense. Following the spin of Evil, is dumb.

The seven deadly sins, also known as the capital vices or cardinal sins:

Its been awhile since I looked these, Seems they'd make sense regardless of where they came from...but I agree 100% with Separation between Church & State.

Pride is excessive belief in one's own abilities, that interferes with the individual's recognition of the grace of God. It has been called the sin from which all others arise. Pride is also known as Vanity.

Envy is the desire for others' traits, status, abilities, or situation.

Gluttony is an inordinate desire to consume more than that which one requires.

Lust is an inordinate craving for the pleasures of the body.

Anger is manifested in the individual who spurns love and opts instead for fury. It is also known as Wrath.

Greed is the desire for material wealth or gain, ignoring the realm of the spiritual. It is also called Avarice or Covetousness.

Sloth is the avoidance of physical or spiritual work.

This bozo is a good example. The profanity laced video has been removed by youtube, I did get this....
Parkland's Hogg: 'My Teachers Are Very Understanding' About Me Skipping School for TV
I say this as a clown so you know I'm dead serious. He is totally smart.

In fact he gives me hope that the future of humanity is indeed doomed to failure. <|:•(

A Korean kid would never dream to do what this kid did, cause we would have been spanked! Hell, wussies here who would call social services over one spanking, no matter how light, would cry their hearts out if they hear about South Korea!

He is smart.....and dangerous!

David Hogg: "Our Parents Don't Know How To Use A F*cking Democracy, So We Have To"

This vulgar pissant should not be listened to, like he says, I'm only 17. But, listen to him they will, the Left with their anti-gun agenda, has the perfect guy to speak for them.

I typically do not pay any attention to the scripted victims that the left presents. They're all hypocrites, else they wouldn't have arms themselves or armed protection...

kid should have his mouth washed out with soap.

i did when i said a bad word when i was a kid.

david hogg...what a tool
He's lucky with that... I remember my cousin in South Korea getting caught smoking by his dad. He got spanked in the calves till he was bleeding. o_O

In retrospect, probably too far, but the point is spanking here is nowhere on the same level it can be over there.

He's playing the blame game a bit as well...

Sorry but I don't think music, and video games, and pornography are the cause of the problem.

I think the media giving it all of the attention they give is part of it. Also the way we raise our children these days I think is a huge part of it.

1. Proper discipline of kids isn't happening these days and I think we need to go back to disciplining them with more than just time out... I'm not saying go overboard and beat the crap out of your kids... but a spanking gets the message across.. If you go through life with no consequences, then what's to stop you from doing bad stuff?
2. Quit letting TV and games raise your kids. Not saying a little tv or games is bad; i'm saying spend time with them! pay attention to them! show them you love them and care for them! Teach them responsibility and respect! Teach them how to care for others and treat others how they want to be treated! Teach them the value of money and earning things! Teach them the value of hard work! Don't give them everything. Make them earn it!
3. Keep them off social media...That crap is so abused, misused, it steals personal information, people get bullied on it or say stuff they wouldn't have the balls to say in person. Unplug and get out in the real world. Don't live in a phone, tablet, or computer.
4. Confront and deal with problems head on. Pills aren't always the answer to your problems. How many kids these days are on anti-depressants, ADHD/ADD meds, etc?! and if they are on it...sorry but your bubblegum goes in the registry to not own firearms. If you can't control your own thoughts or actions without drugs: you have no business owning a weapon and need reported to NICS to be flagged as not allowed to possess a firearm.
5. Society needs to start taking responsibility for crap rather than placing blame on everything but the problem. They like to villainize things like games or music or firearms and get people wound up with pitchforks and torches to attack that "problem" when that was never actually the problem to begin with...take responsibility. own up to mistakes and make them right. don't blame shift.

In the Parkland case:

1. This lunatic was reported dozens of times to the authorities!
a. The local police did NOTHING
b. The FBI dropped the ball and did NOTHING
c. Local government should have reported crazy pants to NICS but didn't!
2. The armed school officer did nothing and hid pissing his pants. (okay I added the pee pants part...but he might as well have been)
a. Had he taken action, he might have stopped the nut job in his tracks and saved over a dozen lives..or maybe a few lives at least. or maybe he might have at least saved 1 life. But instead he did nothing and this kid went unchallenged and ended 17 lives.
That officer doesn't deserve to wear a badge...ever. His cowardly actions proved he doesn't have what it takes to wear a uniform and protect and serve the public.

And we're supposed to have faith that the government and authorities can protect us and our families?! I don't think so...

The way things are going: I'm very strongly thinking about moving to Idaho where the second amendment is not only protected by the people, but by the local state government as well which has laws against gun grabs and laws against gun registration.

Anyway: all of this is just my opinions. Take them as you will. Not apologizing for any of it. :p:D

ADD/ADHD is not a problem with thinking, only on focusing on what they aren't interested in. The purpose of their medication, which is given in much lower doses than people who take it recreationally, is to help them focus on tasks they don't take interest in.

Also depression varies as well, the cases we typically think of where the person is suicidal (and more rare homicidal) are severe cases. Mild depression often has neither, and technically some may not even need medication (but some doctors just throw medicine at you).

As far as video games. They want to compromise. Have a background check on any video game with a gun. Plus you need to be over 21. It won't solve anything but it's a FIRST STEP.

THIS. Actually, competitive shooting HELPED me in the trailing edge of my own bout with depressing--maybe my brain's even more miswired than we all already knew, but usually if I start a depressive cycle (which the autistic are especially vulnerable to) developing and mastering a new skill give me the confidence and self-esteem boosts needed to ride it out without a little blip becoming a bigger problem...

Yes, I'm autistic. Yes, I have a carry permit and weaponry. If you think I have less right to defend my life, and to effective means of doing so, than you do, step up and try to change the situation. Pack a lunch, you got a long day ahead... might wanna pack dinner too.
