Gov allowing sales of surplus HMMWVs now!!! perfects survivle rigs.
There are 7 of htem up for auction in porltand. Looks like they are wanting 7500 each starting bid which is nothing for a true mil HMMVW. I will be getting one as soon as i can.

yeah its an auction. but it doesn't look like many people are bidding on them, and a few of them are ending soon.

make sure it comes with a form SF97 or i believe you will not able to title/register it as a street legal vehicle. that is my understanding atleast

I noticed these are all marked "Off Road Use Only" so I'm thinking they're not street legal.

I have bought a truck through govplanet, a M35A3. There are a lot of hoops to jump through to get paper on them and get it legal to drive.

Keep in mind too that as a surplus rig it may range anyplace from unused to scrap and sometimes condition is really tough to ascertain from a few pictures.
