Two days in a row at two different stores. Ladies wearing fuzzy brown pajamas with pink teddy bears on them.
The one at WallyWorld was a one piece.
The one at McD's was a two piece. While waiting for her food she took the top off. All she had on under it was a black sports bra.
She was about 80 pounds overweight.
I ran outside and washed my eyes out with the Coke that was left in my cup.

You needed to dress up in a suit and tie ...or what passed for one circa 1850 in order to eat in the mess hall.
If you didn't happen to have any dress clothes....The American Fur Company...would gladly sell you one / take payment for one from your wages / rent you one.

So much for the picture of a mountain man in his buckskins at the table... :D
Actually truth be known....most mountain men only wore buckskins when trapping or hunting...otherwise they tended to wear wool or linen....
Like everyone else....well everyone else of European background.
