WOW! He was coming damn close to his dog if not hitting it too. Looks like the dog survived though as it was soon joining in on attacking the cat as the cat started to go dark. I have to guess the owner of the dog just went after it with the first thing that came to hand. Could have gone VERY badly for the guy.

Old video, dog died. If I recall correct it was in Canada where a personal protection firearm would have been illegal. The person filming only honked and did not involve themselves and probably cost the dog his life.
