Golden State Arms Santa Fe m59

    Hellow yall,
    Im concidering on purchasing an Golden State Arms Santa Fe m59 trooper. I dont know much about them and was wonderg if yall had any info on them. Ive seen them before but what has me confused is ive only seen them with detachable Magazines, the one im looking at has an En Bloc clip. :confused:

    I think you mean BM59, which is a post-WWII conversion of the M-1 Garand to the then-standard NATO round, .308. Do a Google search for BM59, and you'll pull up a lot of stuff. Golden State was one of the companies doing the conversions if I recall. Be careful, though. There are a lot of really badly done conversions. I'd recommend having a gunsmith check out your purchase. Never heard of one with an en bloc, but the BM59 detachable mags are expensive and hard to come by.
