That Tupperware isn't as solid as steel? 😉
Ive built 5 glock style guns, doesnt need to be. Its all in the slide, and I still seriously doubt they machined the barrel that far off its axis. Its why Im curious what the problem is with the OPs gun. I could be wrong, and thats ok too. Hoping he finds the bug and lets us know.

Hello all,

New to me Glock has a POI that's 4-5" left of the POA at 15 yards. Anyone else dealt with this before? Barrel is centered in the slide, crown shows no perceptible damage, not sure where to look for the culprit but my ocd would appreciate being able to drift the rear sight back to the center.

Cheers!
Probably is your grip. What about when you shoot it holding with both hands or off a rest?

My comment was certainly in jest.
I wouldn't think the barrel would be that far off either.

What I am curious about and don't remember seeing mentioned is where is the front sight in relation to the slide? I know they aren't adjustable, but has it been changed as it is a used pistol, stranger things have happened.

Thats a really good tip. If its been changed I would check to see if its centered on the slide, and installed straight.

Front sight on a Glock sits in a "pocket" so it wouldn't have any effect on windage.

I bought a slide with an aftermarket fiber optic front sight, that was installed crooked. It wasn't anything a front sight tool couldn't easily fix, but if I had not caught it and aiming at the dot which is offset it would obviously affect POI.

Dawson's shoot left, Trijicon DI shoots left, factory shoots left. Front sight hasn't been more than a few thousandths off at any point

both it and Sisters are way too liberal anymore.
I actually remember when Sisters (and Bend) were pretty conservative but it didn't last long.

With Bend the stupid needle didn't really break the glass until the bypass was completed in about 2004. After that it went ten fold ape chit!.
