I believe it came out at the SHOT show, a week ago. Just the 17 and 22(?), for now, though. More to be released near summer.

The smallest one is attached to the gun, part of the frame. Then it comes with a Medium and Large that get pinned on.

The bottom group is from experimenting with the glock sights on POA/POI.

    25 Yards. :)

What gen Glock is that? It looks to me like the frame of the fourth gen. Every other picture of a fourth gen that I've seen they had different slide serrations.

Nope, the gen 4 comes with a normal looking slide, you might have seen pictures of the RTF glocks.

Removable backstraps, they're only a few years behind the trend :D

We're in a recession, pictures are now only worth 250 words each...

Nice glock. I tried one the other day and don't like the new rough texture. It seems a bit harsher than the first rough texture. But hey, its a Glock. Hard to go wrong...

    It's a Gen 4.

I don't know what I like so much about it, to be honest. I really didn't like the Gen 3 too much.

Besides the backstraps, it also sports a new dual recoil spring system. It's a little bit of a pain to put in and take out of the gun, but it may just be brand new.

All in all, I like the gun. 1911 will see a little less range time. :(

How do you like the new stipling? They feel real sharp, especially if you are gripping it decently, it was rubbing my palm raw. Glad you like it.

The new texture is very aggressive. I don't mind it, but Adrian said it was a little bothersom. I also don't think it will make a difference with sweaty hands. But, with gloves on, it's like Velcro!

Agreed. :) It's a little harsh for my hands. Maybe you could take some fine sandpaper to try to help a bit?
