Thats like my mom said when she had to fly right after 9/11. If someone stands up they damn well better look like they are going to pee their pants cause she will be ripping that tray table of its mounts and beating the hell out of them before she rides an airplane into the ground.

One of the first things they reminded us of is that it isn't going to be the police that stop whatever is going on in your building. We hadn't thought about it that way."

This has been my point when talking to friends about these school shootings, police officers are trained to secure the scene and then clear the building in force. It takes time to get these resources on site, meanwhile the shooter(s) are inside with the initiative and the ability to continue killing and/or select their final position. Taking the initiative away from the shooter is important.
