General Tso what.......

    General Tso chicken and flied lice... Nom Nom Nom......

    4 lbs Chicken

    Egg Dip
    ----
    2 eggs beaten
    2 tbs corn starch


    Flour Dip
    --------
    2 part corn starch
    1 part flour
    tsp salt pepper

    Sauce
    -----
    1/2 sm can tomato paste
    2 tbs oil
    3 tbs soy sauce
    4 tbs sugar
    2 tbs vinegar
    4 cloves garlic chopped fine
    1 thumb size knob garlic chopped fine
    1 tbs sesame oil
    1 tbs crushed red pepper flakes (more if you like it hotter, I add 2 tbs)

    Cut boneless chicken breast into chunks
    Dip in Egg Dip
    Dip in flour dip
    Fry in pan or deep fryer at 350 for 7 mins per batch

    Combine all ingredients of sauce in pan and simmer until hot and mixed
    Combine with chicken (add some chopped green onion if you like)
    Eat

    I can see you are into not so subtle torture!

    I love General Tso Chicken! Used to go to Canyon Pearl to get the best in Portland. Now its closed so I visit a place in Old Town West Linn.

    Any suggestions for restaurants in Portland that excel in this dish???

    Mmmmmmmm. I love General Tso's chicken. Will have to try your recipe.
